MATERNITY at the studio

Maternity sessions at the studio are ideal if you are wanting a really intimate styled shoot or a really minimalist look for your photos. You will have the option of two different types of maternity sessions from the studio depending on what your style and vibe is. I have outlined them below with more info and images to help you gage an understanding of each.

Natural light studio collection includes

• Pre-shoot planning + communications

• Outfit styling advice with access to our collection of client wardrobe dresses & robes (as pictured above)

• A curated collection of the best 40-80 images all lightly edited with my signature style

• Delivered via a private online gallery to view and download for safe keeping & sharing on social media

• Your favourite 10 images selected for additional *retouching and delivered as high resolution digital jpeg for *print.

• Please note, this is a fully digital product purchase & delivery - USB & Printed products can be added to this for an additional cost

*Retouching included is for light & minimal skin clean ups

*Print size is perfect up to A3 anything larger and i recommend printing through my online shop to ensure I resize, and edit so it will print at it’s best quality in a larger format.

Available for use during any session. Sizes range from XS to L and free sizing (one size fits most). If you are interested in using any pieces during your session, please let me know so I can ensure it is ready and available on your shoot date.

FAQ’S

HOW DO WE SET THE SHOOT DATE?

I go off your due date and fit it somewhere between 35-36 weeks so you bump is showing nicely but we aren’t too close to your due date incase bubs surprises your earlier then expected.

WHAT TIME DOES THE SESSION BEGIN?

If you opt for an outdoors session then I’ll plan it around the last hour before the sun sets. If you opt for indoors at the studio then timings can vary anytime from morning until early afternoon when there is still nice lighting indoors.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I have put together a Pinterest board so you can get some inspo for clothing ideas. Try to avoid any branding or logos visible as these can distract from the emotion in your faces and will date your photos quickly. Be mindful of bold clashing patterns or colours between each other. Dress up and feel good! Think muted earthy tones, light whites and creams, tan chinos, Linen shirts, Lace top etc for best results. I also usually ask that you remove any large watches or heavy jewellery on wrists unless its really significant as these elements can distract from your faces and the emotions in the images.

CAN SIBLINGS BE INVOLVED?

Yes! Of course they can! There is no extra charges for siblings or pets in photos.

WHERE WILL THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Studio sessions are at The Studio. A commercial studio space filled with natural light in the CBD of Sale. The Studio address is 2 Sillett Lane, Sale, 3850. Outdoor locations are designed around what landscape style you like. I have a few fav places nearby that include beach, grassy paddocks, bushland, rivers etc. I’m always open to new ideas or your private property locations.

WILL WE GET ALL DIGITAL TO PRINT OURSELVES?

You will receive a curated collection of the best images from the session and i’ll leave out any duplicates, miss focused or blinks. You don’t need those ones! You can print from these files received however they are only best printed up to A4 size, any larger and I recommend contacting me or purchasing framed wall art through the online gallery to ensure the images go through additional retouch to ensure colours, lighting and skin tones are all perfect and resized for the best possible quality fine art prints to stand the test of time.
