Leigh & Paige
Leigh & Paige were so much fun to photograph during their beach session back in October. In the lead up to the shoot, Paige mentioned that they felt a little nervous and unsure of what to do during their photos but i explained how that was normal to feel and to not worry about what to do and just have fun together. I gave them a few little prompts and ideas and let them figure out the rest, which you can see by their photos they did a wonderful job!
These sessions are all about being yourselves, having fun and getting to know each other a little more, me about you two and you two about me. So that on your wedding day we are all comfortable working together and you can pick up a few extra tips, so it all comes natural on your wedding day.
We walked along the beach chatting all about their up coming wedding plans and went over a few new details while the sun set a little more into that perfect golden glow. Joining them on their shoot was their little fur-baby, Cooper. She was the most beautiful, well mannered doggo for the photos.
A few weeks ago Paige reached out to me to let me know their precious Cooper girl had been sick and had passed away. She wanted to thank me for the beautiful photos i captured of her during this shoot and that they now cherish them even more. It bought tears to my eyes reading this email, I know how important these photos would be now, and i’m so pleased she could be apart of this session. She stood right by their side the entire shoot and posed and smiled for the camera, almost like she knew how special these photos were going to be to Leigh and Paige.
I’m really looking forward to their wedding this weekend on Paige’s family property in Gippsland.
